Membership in the Scottish Terrier Club of Chicago
If you have an interest in the Scottish Terrier, consider becoming a member of the STCC. The membership is dedicated to the interests and welfare of this special breed. By attending club functions and becoming an active club member you will contribute to the encouragement and promotion of breeding quality Scottish Terriers. You will make a commitment: to protect and advance the interests of the breed; to provide information about the breed to the Scottish Terrier Fancier and to the general public; to encourage sportsmanlike competition at dog shows.
STCC Member Application
Application Requirements:
- Completing the STCC Application in its entirety, including the STCC Code of Ethics, then scan and send to scottishterrierclubofchicago@gmail.com, or submit your application directly to the STCC Secretary at the next Club meeting
- Attending two (2) meetings
- Becoming sponsored by two members in good standing that know you personally (The sponsors may not be from the same household)
- Submitting a biography to the Club editor for inclusion in The Plaid Piper newsletter
- The applicant is expected to complete the requirements for membership within 6 months from the date the application is submitted
- Once the requirements are met the application will be presented to the membership for acceptance into the STCC
- Upon acceptance into the Club, provide a check for membership dues to the Club Secretary, made payable to STCC. Dues for STCC are $35.00 per year for a individual membership, or $45.00 per year for a family membership. Annual dues are payable by July 1st each year.
Dues can also be paid via the PayPal link below. If paying through PayPal, the individual membership fee is $36.35 per year, and the family membership fee is $46.65 per year. The additional amount covers the cost PayPal charges for processing credit card payments.
